Christmas is for Everyone Program Thursday November 01 2012 This program is designed for families and individuals of all ages who need a helping hand during the holiday season.
Because of the high demand for this program, DancingTrees relies on referrals from teachers, case managers, churches, town governments, and state & federal agencies.
We offer necessities, games to promote social interaction and books to encourage family time. Food, cleaning and bathroom supplies are the most requested gifts.
Volunteers shop for necessities, ask local business owners to donate gifts, gather gently used items, and prepare for community members to pick-up.
This year, Santa’s list includes:
• Staying Warm: Blankets, winter coats, winter boots, snow pants, hats, mittens, and scarves.
• Gifts to Bring a Smile: Practical and useful gifts that promote creativity, and family time. Please note, this excludes the purchase of electronic and mechanical gifts.
FMI, contact Jacki at DancingTrees, Monday, Wednesday - Friday, 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., at 207-539-2670, 207-890-4344 (Evenings), or email at dt@dancing-trees.org.
